4KW Installation in Grandview, WA
When my wife and I decided to invest in a solar array for our home, we tried several online companies, we got no response. I called several companies in the Tri-cities and Yakima, again no response. I sent The Solar Stone an email and got a response the next day. Adam talked with me several minutes and said he would send some information via email. Within the hour, I had the information about solar panels and the cost of both WA equipment and non-WA equipment. The rebate from the State was $0.54 for WA equipment and only $0.15 per KW for non=WA equipment. Big difference (but we were aware of that via online reading). When Adam gave us the cost breakdown and told us there would be a 60-90 day delay because of the backlog for WA equipment. But more importantly we could get twice the array for the money with out of state equipment. When Adam and associate came to install the system, it took them 7 HOURS and they were done! Wow! The inspector was there the next working day, everything was OK. Our only problem was getting the power company to put in the meter. Adam again intervened on our behalf and got it done faster.
I really appreciate the quality work that they did.

Rod & Edie Roberts
Grandview, WA

Solar install in Lewiston, ID
We have had our system for a month and everything is running smoothly. Justin walked us through his preference for certain panels and inverters. I feel like their suggestions led us towards a very high quality system. Even on an overcast day like today, our meter is running backwards. They were able to hide all of the wiring in the walls and came back within a week when I had a problem, even though I live 2 hours away from Coeur d'Alene. Justin remains available by email to answer the occasional question. Solar Stone is a member of the BBB and Justin is certified by NABCEP which was essential to me.

Great Support of the three year project
Was very supportive doing trench work early on in the project, not the normal workload for solar installers.

Pricing is of concern
Also did a lot of research of the market before installation.

Solor Stone was efficient, extremely well organized, completed everything on time, and coordinated with both the city & power company inspectors to ensure everything went smoothly and all their questions were answered/ resolved immediately.

Since we are the ones that benefit from the savings, it would not have made any sense to have the Contractor change us for the net amount after incentives. Some of the incentives are not immediately available for application to the purchase/installation of the system. We would be in a position of remitting incentives paid to the City to the Contractor as they came in. Neither party would benefit from that. I don`t even know if that scenario would be legal for a municipality.
