Horrible
Covey Murray was our consultant. Cannot get in touch with anyone from this company, phones are off. If you ever meet this person DON'T, i repeat DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. RUN as fast as you can, as you will eventually be left with nowhere to turn for whatever he is selling. Our solar system is not working properly and we can't even get anyone from the manufacturing company to try and get help with the issues we are having. If I could rate their after sales support with l;ess than a 1/4 of 1/4 star of a 1/4 star, I would

Miserable follow-up care...
Maybe I should say non-existant... Like the other person who reviewed about his roof, we too had a bad installation with roof leaks. Not to mention, we just had all new singles put on and replaced any bad wood, so the roof was in excellent condition. When I started seeing discoloration in our garage ceiling, we called Gary about the leak. He gave us the song and dance that he'd send someone right out. Well, that was over 6 months and several calls ago. We've had our installation a bit over a year ago. What really concerns me is that if it's leaking over the garage, where else is it leaking that we haven't seen yet? And it's become obvious that Gary is not going to take any responsibility for any of this. To add to that, we also put in a new hot water tank at the same time. We requested a pan be put under the tank, but due to its size, they "weren't required" to use one. Really??? Well, since they "weren't required" to install it with a pan, they didn't - in spite of promises that would get done. We called about that several times too. We finally handled it ourselves. Once the installation is done, you're on your own with this company. They'll be very attentive until after you sign the papers that the installation is done and they get paid. After that, you're on your own.

My entire roof and trusses need to be replaced
Installed a very large solar panel system along with battery back-up for my home. The ceiling in my bedroom caved in because the solar panels were not installed properly. I now have two other ceilings caving in as well. The entire side of my house where the solar panels were installed is leaking. The wrong screws were used for the installation and they were not sealed. Now my entire roof along with the trusses inside need to be replaced. The system was installed less than two year ago. James Warrick at Excel Home Solar is not honoring his warranty. He indicated he is not responsible for fixing the improper installation.
