This company has failed us
I am so unsatisfied with this company, we started our account believing the information given us regarding the benefits that having solar energy would have, wrong..... We started out wanting the complete system for our home with a generator that could run our home when power outages would occur. It first took 6 months for them to bring the generator to our home at this point we thought all was well, but the system would go off with no warning and my husband would reset it. We found ourselves consumed with making this this system work. Our electric bill did not give us any relief because we only had one battery to store the energy that we were producing. We had to buy back the energy we produced paying twice the amount so every month we had a bill and paying for the system also. We decided to add another battery to our system this year and now the system does not work at all. We have complained for the past 5 months, and no one has come to check on this system. We have sent pictures of all the error messages that we have gotten, called, emailed and still no help. The company has stopped communicating with us. They claimed that Generac is responsible, but we purchased this system from Solar Tyme. AT this point I really just want My Moneyback and end all connections with this company. Not Happy at all

Solar Tyme
SolarTyme was the company I chose to install my panels. As expected, I was being fed a line of crap to get my business. One of my original questions had to do with a generator being used for backup energy. I was told I would get a $1200 Generac generator for free. Because I am new to solar energy, I didn't know to ask about its usefulness. It never occurred to me the generator would not in any way be useful to my house in the case of power outages. Nope, it is absolutely worthless for household use. It might power the refrigerator, but that is it. Another issue was the insulation in my attic. Two different workers went in my attic to look around. Because I have never insulated an attic I have no way of knowing what an insulation blanket is. Therefor, I have no way of making up a story about being told about this blanket. When the install was complete I was expecting another someone to connect the generator and put in the insulation. When I checked back with the company I found out my expectations would not be satisfied. I say "Buyer Beware" these people are out for themselves and not the consumer. They will tell you whatever it takes to sell their product.

Absolutely the worst in customer support.
I've been trying to get someone out to my house to inspect the panels and more importantly the supports , that hold the panels on the roof. Found a support / attachment bracket in the gutter of the roof below the panels. Called about my concern back in May, trying to get someone out here BEFORE THE HURRICANE SEASON GOT STARTED. Was told someone would come out, but I would have to pay for a service call. I agreed. 3 months later and multiple calls, I'm still waiting. Hope we don't get a hurricane during the peak of hurricane season. On a good note the folks are pleasant on the phone, unfortunately they are incompetent . Glad I don't have any serious problems, yet.

Over priced and they lied
The company stated I would see so much savings on my electric that my electric bill would decrease immensely (hasn’t happened). Paid 37000 for 11 panels. My neighbors are getting solar now and a battery for 30000 or less and their entire roofs are covered in panels (26 panels). I called several times and am always told the general manager would call me back.. never calls me back. I give this place ZERO stars

This solar panel company. is a ripoff
This company insured me that my monthly electric bill plus my finance cost combine would be less than my monthly average cost. Turns out that the impact on my electric bill was insignificant, barely nothing. So, now i have my electric bill plus the finance of the panels. I am paying $35,000. for nothing! If this company promise you something, make sure that it is a signed document.

1930 is calling and wants their salesman back
I submitted a request for a quote for solar panels, and this company called me. The salesman called to schedule a consult, and refused to send someone out unless my husband was home. I don't have a husband. The guy refused to believe that I could own a home, and pay my own bills without a husband. I'd much rather give MY money to a company that operates in this century, and doesn't make poor outdated assumptions.

SolarTyme - Stay away from this company
We found out in December 2018 that our solar panels had not been working properly or actually at all. It took three weeks of phone calls to get someone out to see what the problem was. A workman came out and did some caulking on the roof. A customer service representative told us due the holidays it would be difficult to get anyone out because of vacations. They were to call us right after the holidays and still have not had a call. They do have voicemails which they ignore. They talk up a big deal and as soon as they have their money they don't care if their customers are satisfied. Very poor customer service.

Great Company for Residential Solar
I purchased 12KW of solar from this company. They handled all of the paperwork, the net metering hookup to my power company, and every aspect of a turnkey installation. From start to finish, it took two months. Now my power bill in the summer is zero. I highly recommend Solartyme.

Solartyme by AAPCO - Don't do business
This company ripped me off and lied. When questioned on it, they said the sales man must have misspoke. They also told me they did all the paperwork for me to get the power company to buy the power I make, but they didn't. I didn't find this out until 11 months after they installed it. Now I owe $40,000. and I'm not even using the energy I'm making.
This company is horrible and I would NEVER do business with them again.
Don't ever use this company.
