Simple Straightforward Process
Signed, then came some inspectors who looked at my roof and gave me a design, then they did all the applications for me, had me sign the forms with Xcel, scheduled my installation date, installed me, scheduled the inspections and then turned on the system. Haven't had a power bill as promised. Honestly surprised me how little I had to do and how everything works as it was explained to me.

Just no after intall support.
Installation took quite a while, but the project was completed competently. Unfortunately after about 3 months the battery stopped charging past 20%. It has been six months,, and, despite many contacts and third party phone diagnostics concluding that an electrician is needed, no one has contacted me about scheduling a time, nor just shown up to fix this problem.

damage
I have had these panels for a year now. Since the very beginning of them being put in I've had problems with one of my panels extremely under performing. After multiple calls and multiple promises they still have not come out to fix it and I've been losing power that it's supposed to be generating for a year now. I'm very annoyed because they want your business but they do not want to fix anything after they get your money. It would be nice if they stepped up and fixed the panel that is supposed to be repaired a year ago and compensation for all the power I have not generated due to the damage panel. But have not had any luck actually getting them out to the property to have it repaired. It's just a bunch of empty promises from customer service.

Incompetent - Crooked - Ripped us off
this company gets 0 stars! We contacted this company September 2022. They stated they could install by the end of December 2022. The problems started just a week after meeting with the salesman. We asked for a system with battery backup to run our well, a few appliances and heat during power outages. No communication from them until the end of January 2023 in which they said the battery they were looking at installing wouldn't work. The salesman text, with an option that was considerably higher in price and less KW but didn't explain we would not be getting 100% coverage. They seem to leave out a lot of details in their communications. The 3rd week of February the salesman said a great battery came up for a good price. They promised this battery would fit our needs of running our well and 3-5 other household circuits. They designed a system, asked us which 3-5 circuits we needed backed up and then submitted utility and permit applications. After the applications were approved, they said the electrician wanted to take a second look. Well, he determined the great battery they offered would not support the well and circuits, it would only support one circuit, but wait....if we buy a bigger battery from them, they THINK it will run our well and circuits. They don't know for sure, just THINK. And of course, the price of the solar goes up another 10K. That was not acceptable to us so they started offering band aid solutions they thought would work. None fit our needs and we asked for our deposit back several times. There have been weeks to a month with no response or communication from this company. They finally sent a portion of our deposit back. Stole $2,241.89 of our money for doing absolutely nothing. They never installed anything. They are totally incompetent and couldn't come up with what they promised but stole part of our deposit. We are seeking legal action against them.

No end in sight
Absolute incompetence, communication has been nonexistent to incorrect throughout the entire process. We've been at this for months with no ETA (at least not an ETA that has been communicated to us) as to when the system will be online, not to mention unresolved issues with property they damaged during the installation.

Would not recommend
Suntalk was a very disappointing company to work with, the entire office is horrible at communicating. The process took over 8 months to complete and the install job was sloppy and rushed. The electrician failed the inspection because he faked his install of a wire in the ceiling by cutting it on both ends and sticking it in the wall. They also broke something, stole something, and walk in your house with dirty boots. I wouldn’t trust this company in my home again.

Not efficient, not working, not cost effective, big troubles
One of my worse experience. This company was not our choice but was imposed to us by Source NRG whit which we have signed contract for solar system installation. Suntalk Solar is more friendly with your utility company then whit you like customer. Installed solar system is not effective, have constant issues and didn't make our energy bill low, it actually make it way high since we need to pay same energy bill + solar panels. Customer service is useless and if technician need to come to your home you need to pay in front. There are no warranty at all. If something need to be replaced be prepared to wait and wait and wait....... until summer is gone and it will be done in the winter...... guess why? because no sun, that's why our system "works" only at that time. On the main time you keep paying for bills and solar system(which not work). We got 3 legged racing horse but we found out that when we pay for it and see it running, because we have no options to see it before. If you don't want to be p........t o...f stay away from this scammers.

Existing customers, move to the end of the line!
We had solar installed 4 years ago by SunTalk. Last month the panels needed to be removed so our hail damaged roof could be replaced. SunTalk told us it would take 3 weeks before they could get us scheduled for the removal (and then showed up sooner, with last minute notice.) Now, we're waiting another 3 or so weeks for panels to be reinstalled. <br /><br />And this is at 2 to 3 times the rate charged by other solar companies. (Our roofing company has worked with a number of other solar suppliers and was shocked at prices quoted.)<br /><br />Not impressed by the way they care for existing customers. Move to the end of the line!
