Poor service; no system after 4 months!
On September 20, 2023 I signed a contract for an 18 panel solar system. As of January 18, 2024 I still do not have my system installed. I received a call from Operations Manager on December 6th. He apologized for the delay and committed to having the system installed no later than December 20th. December 2023 was mild weather and perfect to get the system installed; January 2024 not as nice. I have not heard from Ops Manager since the December 6th phone call; even after missing the date he committed to. On January 3rd 2 people brought hardware in a trailer. As of January 18, 2024 the trailer and hardware are sitting in my yard. I have not had any updates and the local electric association reached out to me to get a phone number. Manager has been incommunicado.

Best price, most professional, and always answers their phone
Thank you Solar Guys for being so professional. I was afraid of solar until I spoke with Ray and the Solar Guys, they laid all my fears to rest. The Solar guys make solar simple and show you how solar pays for itself. I’ve had my solar for 3 months now and now I only pay Black Hills $13 per month. Best decision I ever made. Best Solar Choice!
The Solar Guys were recommended to me from a friend and right from the beginning of the very first call to them, I could understand why! Justin and his team definitely know what it means to serve their customers and ensure they are extremely satisfied with their product, work and service. Whatever avenue of communication (text, email, phone, in person) that I utilized, one of them was quick to respond and all our questions were thoroughly answered along the way. Other than the great customer service, the other real highlight for me was the cleanliness of their work. While driving around looking at other company's work, I had a concern with the way the system would look on my house but Justin assured me that they were VERY committed to maintaining the aesthetics my home and would do everything possible to make these panels low impact. And they delivered! There is no visible conduit on exterior of the house and no large, additional boxes attached to the side of the house. Literally the only thing you can see on my home is the panels! Make the right choice - choose the Solar Guys!

Why wouldn't you make the switch?
I think if everyone understood how this works, everyone would switch to solar today. I didn't understand how people could afford switching to solar before I spoke with Justin. Justin was very knowledgeable and helped me to realize how simple and beneficial going solar really is. After our first conversation I was sold and we were making plans to get our system installed. Knowing that the electric companies are rasing their prices every year and how getting solar stops this from happening was the biggest pro. I have yet to find a downside from this deal. These guys were great to work with, very professional and an amazing service that will end up saving me money and help the environment at the same time! smartest buy we have ever made
After looking at several quotes we decided to do business with Justin at The Solar Guys. Not only because they are local but because they use panels made in the USA with a longer warranty than the other companies we looked at. I really thought solar would be too expensive and I wasn't really looking forward to a sales pitch but they came highly recommended from a friend of mine. I found it really amazing all the things I did not know about solar until Justin sat down and gave us a one on one education. We were surprised to find out that solar payments cost less than what we used to pay for electricity. Smartest buy we have ever made for our house.
