Not good at resolving issues, just selling parts
The reason I decided to purchase from Unbound was that I expected them to be thorough and experienced at providing a complete solution, not just a box of parts. However, they missed an important detail in my ground mount design that I was left on my own to resolve. They did not know of a good solution, so I had to figure it out. It turns out that solar installers know how to address this, but Unbound did not. After I figured it out and got my solar installation complete, they were very uninterested in making it right, which is disconcerting. When you buy from places like Unbound, you pay more for your equipment because they are supposed to provide a complete package that can be built as per plan. That is not always the case. If I had known, I would have purchased directly through a supplier like CED at a significantly lower cost. There are designers that will draw up plans for your building permit at a very reasonable cost. I was lulled into thinking Unbound would be more supportive after the sale, but clearly was mistaken.

Incompetent and negligent
They messed up on my electrical diagrams multiple times and tried telling me to redo all of it. They continuously sent me the wrong parts which caused several delays and cost me more money. The recognized that these were their mistakes, but refused to compensate me for the extra money their mistakes cost me and have just started ignoring me all together. Terrible service all around. And their "tailored work" is actually a generic manual with cookie cutter diagrams that did not apply to my project at all. Their instructional videos are completely outdated and did not use the equipment they sold me.

poor service--can't get a quote
I was looking for an off grid quote--the website states it should be about 4 days before I get a quote after typing in all off the specs, and answering all of the questions on the site. I get an e-mail from customer service a day or two later, that offered links to browse the inventory, and asked me for all of the specs, all over again. Super annoying to have to repeat all of that. Then--There is nothing in their inventory after you wait an ungodly amount of time checking off the specs and watching the wheel spin on their website. They know there is nothing listed in their inventory. They are just trying to buy time. The rep stated that they purposely do not list anything in their inventory for you to do your own pricing. Yet there is a link in the e-mail. Folks--let me tell you---that is a huge red flag. To be fair, I imagine if you have several months to wait, this may be the company for you.
