Improper installation of solar hot water system. No expansion tank on hot water heater & I'm on city water. No insulation on copper piping in attic. Undersized expansion tank on panel side, improperly located. The above causing leaks in 3 valves & electric element to burn up. System non functional for 2 years as well. No shut off installed leading to water tank as per code. Charged me hundreds for replacing electric element which they wired wrong upon first attempt. Put wet insulation pad on top of new element!Installed whole system on more shaded side of roof even though I pointed out that other side gets more sun esp. in winter, said it made no difference, but it did! This was an insurance job so price was not an issue! Saw leaks in valves when they replaced electric element, & I asked them to fix this, but owner told me to tighten it myself with a pipe wrench myself! Called once Sugar Hollow diagnosed the problems & owner told me he was sorry & didn't notice there was no expansion tank on water tank! Denied other tank was undersized & refused to give me a penny back. Horrible experience!!! Stay away! Very incompetent & dishonest.
