We purchased a Lumos Solarscape and had problems from the design phase through the install. After 8 months, the wood on our product is water stained, moldy and cracked, and the fasteners are rusting. When I wrote to ask for a refund on the wood, the vice president of human resources accidentally sent me an email that she meant to send internally, which insulted me and told the employee he didn't need to respond to me. I don't recommend this company.<br /><br />This is an update from a previous review. We paid tens of thousands of dollars for a Lumos SolarScape. After 8 months the wood cladding is moldy, streaming with rust, and waterstained. We consulted an architect and carpenter. Both were shocked at how bad it looked and recommended it be uninstalled. Both strongly suggested asking for a refund. After 9 months of asking for a refund, the Lumos VP of HR contacted me by phone and apologized for everything. She agreed it looked very bad and said that they'd pay for a company to uninstall it and refund our money. The next week she changed course. She offered $2,000 (out of the over $5,000 we paid) and asked that we take down any negative reviews.
