Our installation was done about five years ago. When it was done we paid the full price and it took Gulf South Solar about 6 more months to finish installing the ducts to our heating system that had been moved as part of the istallation. The result was that we had carbon monoxide going into our attic the every time we used the heat and we did not know it. Our heating company told us about it.

We have been without our solar power since Thanksgiving, almost four months now. First, one board in one of the inverters quit and then the second board quit. The repair person is very nice and competent. But it takes forever to get things repaired and they typically do not return my emails.

As the owner of GSS I will respond. Customer dates are wrong per actual records. Contract signed 6/12/12, installation started 6/14/12, system was on-line generating solar power with web monitoring before 8/1/12. 6 weeks, not 6 months. No email record of "ductwork issues". Service call on system was email recorded on 11/17/16 and repaired soon after. System was out of warranty so there was a service charge.
Our next record of service call was an email on 2/9/17 with an unknown "breaker tripped". My service technician is no longer with the company. While in the process of locating a qualified service technician in the area I received this "review" of 1 star on our service installation. I don't think it would be wise to refer this customer to another company at this time.
