I hired Southern Current to install solar panels on my home in Hilton Head Island, SC because they offered competitive pricing and had good reviews. It took more than a year from signing the contract to installation because I was the first in my community to apply to the HOA to install solar and the HOA decided it needed to adopt guidelines before it could act on my application. The guidelines were so restrictive that Southern Current could not meet them. After about a year, hardware was available to satisfy the HOA's guidelines and the proposal was approved. However, during the installation process an issue arose which required a waiver which the HOA refused to approve. As a result, we were not able to install six of the panels we had contracted for. Throughout the process, Southern Current patiently worked with me and the HOA to bring the project to success. There was also good follow-up following the installation and when I had problems with my Enphase connection. I would highly recommend Southern Current.
