Review for SolarTech Inc

Poor technical knowledge, brut installers, and delayed service

1 because I have to leave a review. They are unprofessional, misguiding customers JUST to get business, poor work quality and ethics. Over a year to install Tesla Powerwall without any updates, stating their installers are construction workers and are not skilled to do clean work and so customers have to put up (see pictures). Designing critical loads w/o customer involvement as customers find half backed up critical load at power-outages. When reported to Solar Tech project manager Paul L, one finds him angry and mad that customers are reaching out to him post installation, asking for $500 a circuit. Gino S, is their sales rep, falsely assuring customers to lure contracts. After giving Gino business for first 2 powerwalls, I went with LA Solar for other 2 power walls, and no issues. In fact, they don't collect any funds and whole thing is funded by SGIP. Keep away from Paul and Gino at Solartech who bring shame to others at SolarTech

This is clearly taking advantage of a small business posting the same bad review on multiple sites when this was not what happened. We have tried to listen to your requests, but your constant profanity and belittling has hindered us from helping you. We communicated with you throughout every step in the process. Gino let you know this was a partial back up not a whole home back up, that is why you are now in the process of buying 2 more Tesla Powerwall’s for your home. The home has a 400 amp service panel, the (2) Powerwall’s are only able to put out 50 amps combine which is why it needed to be partial home backup. The length of time was due to COVID and delay in attaining the product which you were notified about. We communicated with you on the drywall cuts, we were told to leave them. We have crew ready to repair cuts like that, that is a normal part of the work we do daily. Paul is knowledgeable and helpful as a Service Manager. SolarTech has been in business for over 20 years helping Californian’s power their homes and businesses. We have tried to explain to you after multiple conversations, and site visits, that this was a partial back up of your 400-amp panel. An entire 200-amp sub-panel has been backed up for your critical loads and any additional circuits that you wanted re-located were never mentioned to us until recently-6 months after the installation has been completed. We don’t work in fear of bad reviews.
