Took our $25k deposit, and never delivered. We signed and put down a deposit for a large ground mount solar array in spring 2020. They guaranteed it would be completed by October of 2020. By January of 2021, Moxie was still tied up in permitting, with no end in sight. Communication was horrible. We canceled the contract after 9 months from signing because Moxie still couldn’t get out of the permit approval phase (they guaranteed goal job completion/installation in 6 months). They put in writing that we would get a full refund of our deposit in February of 2021. 13 months go by before we even hear from them again about how to repay us. They said they couldn’t pay us back until November of 2022, in four weekly installments. It is November of 2022, and Moxie still hasn’t refunded our deposit, 22 months later. They aren’t responding to emails or voicemails. This has been a nightmare! The next step is going to court. Do NOT use Moxie Solar! Run away as fast as can!
