A great company in the beginning.

My wife and I recently moved from California to the RGV. Our previous home had Tesla Solar panels and the product made by Tesla was excellent. I received a quote from a company in the RGV but the company was unable to provide Telsa panels. I was in the process of signing a contract with "the other company" when Jacob Yarbrough and Rene Garcia came to my door. Jacob said he was a representative from South Texas Solar Systems Company. I advised Jacob I was already in the process of signing with another company. Jacob said he could beat the price offered to me by "the other company." I let Jacob in and told Jacob I would most likely go with the other company, but I would hear him out. Jacob beat the competitors' price and was also able to get me Tesla panels. Jacob also stated he would be able to get an EV port. The EV port had me thinking about the value of our home going up. Electric cars are the future and if I had a charging port installed that would definitely increase the value of our home. Everything Jacob advised me his company could do, the company did. My panels were installed in April of this year (2022/28 panels). The crew from S.T.S.S. was top notch. This crew did everything. I have an HOA and Agustin Pacheco provided all the needed paperwork to my HOA board. I did not have to do a thing. My installation process was effortless. I still stay in contact with Jacob and Agustin. Great people in general. I've had no problems with my solar system. As for my EV port. I haven't received it. Now I'm confused. I pay my loan as promised. I get my Tesla panels, but I don't receive my EV port. I contacted Jacob, who no longer works for the company. Jacob apologized for the delay but also stated he no longer worked for the company. I contacted Agustin who stated he is trying his best to get the product. Agustin stated he will contact me as soon as possible when the EV port comes in. It's December. Nine (9) months of paying for a product I haven't even received. How can a company treat a paying customer like this? I'm shocked. It's clear the person I was working with is no longer working for the company. It's clear the company now has someone running it who is incompetent. I would love to give this company a great review because the people I originally worked with took care of business and came through on their product. I would seriously investigate who will be doing the job for you from this company. It's clearly not dependable people like Jacob and Agustin. I would seriously find out what company Jacob works for now. I know for a fact if Jacob is working for the company the job will be done professionally and correctly. It used to be a time when companies would continue to stay in contact with the customer long after the customer purchased the product. I guess this company only takes the money and runs. Very disappointed with South Texas Solar. Sincerely, Mr. still paying for something I haven't received. Take my advice. Do your homework. Maybe if the company was called "South Texas Solar by Jacob and Agustin Inc" I would have my EV port by now. No call. No text. No email. No nothing but my bank statement keeps coming every month. It just pisses me off a company like this would just disregard me like this. Maybe I should have gone with "the other company." Whoever has taken over, I can truly say your follow up service is substandard. Meaning, you should be fired.
