Garett at SunHeat Solar makes all the difference

I did a lot of "shopping" and investigating before selecting to work with Garett's company SunHeat Solar. We live in Illinois and when the SREC's were introduced, solar companies started popping up like weeds everywhere. Suddenly, everyone claimed to be solar experts, even though they had only been in business for a year or less. Garett and his company proved the exception. Garett has been working in this area for decades. While you may not have heard of him or his company, he's worth at least including in your calls to get an estimate. Pro's: -Extremely knowledgeable about solar -Worked with me to find the right system value (ie total cost vs system production) -Handled the SREC process from start to finish -Completed the work on-time. We've worked with many different contractors for other projects on our house, and only about 50% of the time did the project get completed on the timeline originally relayed. The ones with delays were typically months delayed, so it was refreshing to have Garett complete the install on-time. -Not only is Garett extremely knowledgeable, but he actually had the most competitive total price Con's: -Since Garett doesn't do a lot of advertising, you won't find much information on him or his company. Our original install was in 2019 and now in 2022, we're actually expanding our system as we purchased a plug-in hybrid and our total energy usage has increased. We contacted Garett and he's on the job!
