Solar Energy Today installed my solar system in 2019. Everything tip-top, no complaints, and the system worked fine. But when I needed to migrate the monitoring system from 3G to 5G (mandatory) in 2022, they had merged/become Lumio, and my experience was ghastly, awful, every negative word you can think of. Their customer support reps were understanding and knowledgeable, but when they handed off to someone actually coming to the house, everything fell into a black hole of nothingness. No communication call backs, no follow-through. Bottom Line: NO MONITORING SYSTEM. Then a few months ago the inverter on the system needed to be replaced. Same experience. Black hole of nothingness. Bottom Line: NO SOLAR SYSTEM. After weeks of no call-backs, I transferred the warranty and maintenance of the solar system (yes, you can do this) to South Sound Solar. They were fabulous, wonderful, and got both the solar system and the monitoring system back up and running. Bottom Line: They cleaned up Lumio's mess.
