Backup Batteries for Solar Panel System

After monitoring our solar panels for several weeks, we are going to start planning the second phase of our project. Namely the installation of a battery backup system of 1 or 2 IQ Batteries 5P, since our knowledge of solar power is limited. We once again reached out to the good folks at Solstice Solar. I reached out to Ahmmad and he was very helpful in answering my questions. Discussing with me in detail the advantages and disadvantages of batteries and standby generator as part of a backup system for solar panels. Ahmmad used our past energy consumption records to help me reach a conclusion on the number of needed batteries for our home and peace of mind.
