It took 2 years to activate

We signed a contract with Elevation Solar April of 2022. They were highly rated, & we were impressed with the salesman. We even signed a contract for our daughter's house a few months later. But, a 60-120 day time frame, as stated in the contract, turned into 2 years. I won't detail every issue, but suffice it to say, we had nothing but one issue after another all along the way - for 2 years - before it was finally activated. About a month after signing the contract, they informed us that they would have to add an addendum that would cost us more. The site plan was incorrect: they didn't realize that a main panel upgrade (MPU) was needed until later, & they then informed us that it would be at least another $12,000 to hook into the electric down the street. We would've understood maybe 6 months, but 2 years was tough to swallow, especially with all of the problems that needed to be dealt with along the way. I tried to speak with the CEO about a year into it, but I didn't hear from him. When I finally got to speak with the CEO - after activation - he told me that he feels they fulfilled the contract, &, for our troubles, offered me $1,000 on a $25,000, project that took SIX TIMES longer than promised. As a business person, I don't consider that to be "fulfilling the contract". I truly hope that Elevation treats other customers better than they treated us.
