As a long term owner of my townhome I wanted to pursue the option of installing photovoltaic panels on the roof to provide solar power for my electricity consumption. As I contacted a half dozen companies to inquire about this project, I was surprised at the wide variety of experiences and responses I received, from "our company does not install solar panels on townhomes" to "hold on while I check with my manager to see if I can get you a lower quote" to my online meeting with Jeff Nachman of Solar Energy World, who clearly explained the concept, benefits and complete process of solar panel installation, from the design of the appropriate size system to permitting, installation, inspection and ultimately approval to turn on the system for operation with connection to the local power grid. Jeff provided clear and concise information and answers to my questions and was available through the entire process to explain where the project status stood. The site inspector, office staff and especially the installation crew from Solar Energy World were all extremely efficient, courteous and professional in performing the important work to make this project a total success for me!
