A Complete Nightmare

My experience has been nothing short of a complete disaster. I initially chose them for a solar panel installation in December 2022, based on promises that turned out to be utterly misleading. The salesperson, Mike (may he rest in peace), guaranteed that installing their solar panels, water heater, and pool pump would result in minimal electricity costs—around $20 to FPL. This was a blatant lie. The reality is that I’m now paying more for electricity than I did before. The installation process was incredibly frustrating. What was supposed to be a straightforward project dragged on for 8-9 months. I frequently had to contact Branch Manager Chris for updates. He assured me that my total monthly cost would be $210 for all three components, which turned out to be completely inaccurate. After months of delays, Chris finally managed to get the permits approved, but communication was poor throughout. I was always left wondering about the status of the project. Chris handed me over to Jonathon in May 2023, who promised that the solar panels would be installed soon. However, there were ongoing issues with missing parts, and communication was sporadic. I received a bill for the solar panels in June 2023, despite them not being installed yet. Jonathon covered that month’s bill, but this was just the beginning of a string of problems. In July, the inspector failed to approve the installation multiple times. Jonathon covered that month's payment too, but the lack of clear communication was frustrating. Adding to the chaos, my water heater broke and flooded my garage, leaving us without water for days. They did replace the water heater, but it was another inconvenience in a long line of issues. By August 2023, Jonathon claimed that an affidavit would substitute for a physical inspection. I had doubts, but I took their word and managed to get the inspector out, who finally approved the installation. Now, nearly a year later, my solar panels are still not functioning properly. I’m paying over $200 to FPL and $210 for the solar service monthly. Despite numerous attempts to reach Jonathon, he has disappeared, leaving me with no support. In summary, my experience with them has been a costly and frustrating ordeal. I regret ever choosing them for this project. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company if you value your time and money.
