WHAT A MONOPOLY!!!!! This company is a big joke. If I knew now, back in 2020 I would have never installed solar, especially with this company!! Solar is not what it is cracked up to be and being pushed by "Corrupt Government" In Washington State you don't generate the power to have a "0 $" bill. Especially when you have charges on your power bill to pay for those who do not pay their bill. (Thanks Jay Inslee) I had solar installed in 2020 on a newly constructed shophouse (Pole Barn) which has a non-traditional roof. I had nothing but issues with the original install which lead to Solgen having to pay my contractor to replace a BRAND NEW 1 month old roof. This original install caused my roof to leak....Fast forward to 2024 and my roof needed replaced ALREADY (at my own expense). I worked with a roofing contractor and started communication with Solgen in Feb 2024 as they are the ONLY ones who can uninstall/reinstall to have a new roof replaced (What a Monopoly). As you know roofing contractors "Can't" be at the beck and call of a solar company as they usually need to schedule roofing projects around the weather. Trying to get Solgen to commit to a date to uninstall was a nightmare. They are NOT willing to work with a contractors schedule as my re-roof was scheduled for the end of June. Solgen didn't uninstall until July. It is now the end of August and Solgen just got a crew out 8/29 to re install. The crew showed up and couldn't do the work as they didn't have the correct screws. Well guess what??? I guess an existing customer doesn't mean much to this company because I am back AGAIN on their "Waiting List" to have a crew come back. What 3 months from now????? All I can say is do your homework on Solar and Solar companies!!! I DO NOT recommend this company at all!!!!!!!!!
