The install was relatively quick and they did good work. However, as soon as my microinverters stopped reporting it was a 3 month process and multiple trips to the house by a tech to replace the gateway. The system was finally up and running as well as reporting for a whole 4 days. I tried to troubleshoot multiple times before I was able to get a tech to finally come out to troubleshoot on their end only to be told that my system is functional and reporting on their end but it's not reflecting on the app. Apparently, Elevation updated their software and the system can only connect to a 2.4Ghz network. Low and behold I have a dual channel network that allows devices to connect at what ever that specific device demands. The tech insisted my only options to remedy the situation is to either pay for a device from them that connects the system directly to a satellite OR buy an external 2.4Ghz router from my internet provider to plug into my current set up. I don't know what habidashery is going on here but the whole issue makes it seem like they don't care if I can monitor my system as long as they're getting their money. I'm paying $200 a month for this system while my energy bill continues to run $300 a month during summer months. I'm furious about the situation to say the least and now I'm absolutely stuck.
