I had several calls from Trinity regarding putting solar on my roof, I finally had them come and we signed a contract with Kevin McSorley, he sat at my table and gave me a quote and all of the good that solar will do, explained that Trinity will come out and do an evaluation of my roof and to make sure that my home will be a good fit. Once they came here, they inspected my roof and did not give me any indication that my roof was old and that the shingles should be removed before moving forward on the solar installation, they did tell me at the time that they inspected my roof that I need to replace the pipe collar so there would be no leaks. We fast forward 3 years, Now I have a leak, not only are they not doing anything about it they are telling me that I have to deal with Sunnova who is the finance company and the warranty company. I had a service tech come out from Sunnova and he informed me that the roof should have been removed before installation of the solar panels. He also said that I will get a call from a manager to go over the issue still have not gotten a call 1 week later. I have a call out again to the Sunnova Finance Department regarding this issue, because the customer service department just keeps on going around and around. Sunnova wants to charger me $ 8900.00 to remove and reinstall solar panels that were on my roof for 3 years, when they have a 10 year warranty that means nothing. Trinity as well wants to charger me to remove and reinstall the solar panels for more money. THIS TRINITY AND SUNNOVA ARE RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS. IF ANYONE IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE, WE NEED TO GET A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINGST THEM.
