In August of 2023, I started a case to have 6 of my 40 panels removed to repair a roof leak, it took a month for them to schedule me with their Contractor PLUGPV, finally in October they reinstalled my Solar, cutting holes in Shingles that they had to pay my Contractor to come out and repair. I asked them where was the permit for the removal and replace procedure and the a contractor told me that wasn't necessary, WRONG! The new roof had to be permitted, removal and replacement of Solar Panels also need to be permitted,, after many months of being passed from one person to another at SunRun, Orlando, California, Utah and lord k ows where, a permit was finally pulled in June, they are good for 6 months, I called the City of Saint Petersburg Wednesday to find out they still haven't called the permit in for final inspection, it expires in December and will be an additional $500. to reopen it! 15 months to get to this point,, If I had to do it over again I wouldn't,once you have Solar installed they forget about you! SUNRUN is just another Money Grabbing Company with High Pressure Sales People! Buyer be Ware!
