1. Hire a lawyer to review your contract it would cost 250 dollars but it would worth every penny. 2. Ask the company to take outthe,Arbitration cluse. No solar company needs that. 3. Read contract fully. 4. Ask for itemized contact, like cost of the panel, batteries if you install. If you didn't ask they will just give you the total amount of loan. Trust me you will need it when you take them to court. 5. Ask to include legal fees. Some times you can end up winning the case and still you might end up paying for attorney fees. 6. Remember it's a big company with lot of lawyers where as you are,regular Joe with 9to5 job who basically cannot afford lawyers fees. 7. Ask for 3 different company for price comparison . One final thing make sure the amount you are paying for the solar company not more than your monthly electrical bill. If you still going with this company GOOD LUCK. You will need it in a year or so after installation.
