I went to solar on December 22, I found a problem with the solar production in June 2024. I immediately contacted Sunpower, they asked me to contact Freedom Solar. I contacted them too, at that time Sunpower was not even declared bankrupt. They said they are working on it, took like few months. I have been calling and technicians coming and going. In September I received an email from Christopher who introduced himself as a manager- "We are currently in the process of Submitting your issue to Enphase for review and possible RMA issuance (return merchandise authorization) this is so we can replace (if authorized) applicable /Micro inverters paid for by manufacturer so that you do not have to pay out of pocket (if authorized)". I emailed once again in October to check the status, I didn't receive any proper response. In November they responded with this -" to proceed with the diagnostic assessment, we would need to send two technicians to your property. They will need to access the roof, lift the panels, and inspect the wiring and voltages for the lines. The cost for this service is $500. Should the issue be found to be related to critter damage or a power surge, the charge will stand. However, if the problem is determined to be related to workmanship or falls under the manufacturer’s warranties, the diagnostic fee will be refunded." This is the worst decision I ever made going solar with Freedom Solar. THEY DIDN'T FIX MY SOLAR PANELS EVEN AFTER 6 MONTHS. I 100% agree with several people who gave a one-star review. All these 25-year warranties are BS don't get into their trap. Please read all one review before making any decision.
