The first 2.5 years there were more months were the panels didn't work as compared to the months where they did work. My true up bill last year was almost $9000! I am doing more to conserve energy that I have ever before and my PG&E bill continues to sky rocket. We have literally only turned on the main heater less than 5 times this year and my last PG&E bill was $1200!!! I have continued to try to get them to come out and there is always some issue as to why they can't, ie. "the company we use for maintenance didn't answer...can you call us back tomorrow." The hold times on the phone are ridiculous. They blame PG&E, and PG&E blames them. All I know is when I didn't have solar my average bill was around $300. I am pay $1000 now with solar and PG&E. They don't seem to do any maintenance or monitor systems unless you call with a concern. If I could leave this contract I would. If I can sue, I will. Also, the panels belong to them, so they keep the tax incentive. We get nothing.
