Great experience before, during, and after installation

I got multiple quotes and went with Sunsent Solar to install an 11.5 kw ground mounted system to power our home and car. I was almost shocked at how professional the company was throughout the process, from the initial site visit, to the scheduling, to the post-install support. The managers were responsive to my texts and calls, and the installation crews worked hard. My project was tougher than most due to the ground mount and the distance from the house, but they bent over backwards to get it done well, and work through all the hiccups you expect during a big project like this. We just got our first electric bill since we turned on the system, and it was NEGATIVE (Ameren owes us money). Solar is still pretty expensive, no doubt, but after rebates from Ameren and the IRS my outlay was about $29,000, and I figure it's like spending the price of a modest new car to get free electricity for the rest of my life. I'm definitely using Sunsent Solar when we're ready to install backup batteries. UPDATE: One of our microinverters failed a several months after installation. Sunsent came out, identified the problem, worked directly with the manufacturer to make a warranty claim, ordered a replacement microinverter, and then installed the new inverter. So ultimately Sunsent and Hoymiles held up their end of the deal, and we're still very happy with the services.
