If you are considering solar, and considering Advanced Renewable Solutions (A.R.S. or ARSolutions), I would advise you look elsewhere. I met with my salesman, Alex, who spent an abnormal amount of time telling me how honest he was (Should have been the first clue), last year and purchased a system with an expected turn on of October/November. I was told that I would have 60 days of Solar running with no payments and a minimal ACE bill. Part of the pitch was with it being on in that timeframe that I would bank enough credits that I would be able to cover my electric bill in the summer with AC use. When I began, my ACE budget plan was running $240 a month. So now we are in March, I am still producing no solar, a $300 solar bill, in addition to my ACE bill. I am not generating SRECS to offset the fact my solar payment is higher than my normal ACE bill. On multiple occasions during this dreadful process, I would not hear anything for a couple weeks, so I would reach out for an update and their response would be that I needed to provide something or sign something. As an example, I had not had contact for two weeks. When I asked for an update, the response was the TWP did not approve their design and that they needed me to select between two other options. How long was that info sitting on someone's desk and would it have ever gotten to me if I didn't ask? Other responses were ACE needed yet another copy of my monthly ACE bill. This was always asked as a response to me checking in for updates. I would find it difficult to believe it is a coincidence that everything that they needed from me would suddenly pop up the same day I was looking for an update. Last week I received a series of emails from ConnectTheGrid that there were errors in the application submitted, so who knows what delays this will now cause? The only response I get from the salesman is that I will know before he does when it will be able to be turned on. All I have is $50,000 (much higher than other estimates) of worthless solar panels. I am now speaking to a lawyer to see about having A.R.S. come out and put my house back in the condition they found it, as it seems they have their money and see no need to provide service. Don't know if I have any recourse though, as I am sure their contracts have them covered. Also my warranty is ticking, so that won't be what I was promised by the time it comes online, which I can't even get an estimate on. So again, avoid A.R.S. at all costs.
