Lies and deception

I purchased a very large amount of solar from them just over 2 years ago, and it was the worst decision I’ve ever made. Within 5 minutes of meeting Corey Klein, the sales representative that visited my home and gave me the original estimate, I was asking what would happen if I was to sell my home, as this was a major concern to me. He told my wife and I that the loan would be transferable to the buyer, and assured us that it was basically common knowledge that all solar loans are transferable. This was a lie to make a sale. I’m not sure if he was trying to lie to me or if he was just mistaken and unknowingly giving false information, but nevertheless, it was incorrect. When signing the contract with the lender, there was no mention at all about whether the loan would or would not be transferable, so I took it as “common sense” again that all solar loans were transferable. Luckily, I have it both in writing and recorded via my security cameras, but you may not be so lucky. I will still have the headache of a lawsuit, but in the end I will be fine while I’m sure many others out there are going to lose tens of thousands of dollars due to these shady sales tactics. I’ve since spoken to the entire hierarchy of Semper Solaris trying to get them to take responsibility and make this right, but they just keep saying “we understand your frustration and apologize for any misunderstanding, but unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do to help”. Obviously that’s just lip service, but I just want to warn others who are actually doing their due diligence to properly research their investment to know that this is not a trustworthy company. They are using the “veteran owned” gimmick to lure people in, claiming to bring “honesty, integrity and hard work to the solar industry”, but when given the opportunity to prove it, they just lie and pass responsibility onto everyone else. Please do your research, get everything in writing, and think very long and hard about this investment so you don’t end up paying tens of thousands of dollars for somebody else’s solar.
