I had high hopes when I decided to go solar with Sunnova, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. From the very beginning, their customer service was a headache. The sales team promised one thing, and once I signed the contract, it felt like they disappeared. I had a hard time getting any clear answers from them about installation timelines or system details. The installation itself was a nightmare – it took much longer than expected, and the crew left a mess behind. Once the system was finally set up, it wasn’t even working properly. I had to call customer support multiple times, and each time, I got different explanations, none of which fixed the issue. The system constantly shuts down or underperforms, leading to higher energy bills than I had before installing solar. To make matters worse, Sunnova’s response time for support is incredibly slow. I’ve been waiting weeks for someone to come out and look at the system, and no one seems to be taking responsibility for the issues. I regret choosing Sunnova and would strongly advise anyone considering solar to look for a more reliable and customer-focused company.
