Blue Ridge Sun did a great job helping me estimate my energy usage and then providing me with the correct size grid-tie unit. The photovoltaic system provides us with all we need and just a little more that helps displace coal power. The job was done on time and at the cost estimated. Good Work!

Highly recommend for any solar project
This is the second project I have had Blue Ridge Sun do for me. The first project, completed in 2010, was a 18 module 4.0 KW system with Enphase microinverters. These have been functioning great and dramatically reduced my power bill, but I decided I also needed power back-up when the grid was down. After consulting Blue Ridge Sun, I contracted to add 12 more modules with an Outback FlexPower 48 volt battery back-up system. I'm very happy with the results and the peace of mind knowing critical loads, such as the water pump and refrigerator, will still be functioning when there is a power outage. Blue Ridge Sun has been wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them for any solar project.

All work was completed on schedule and at agreed upon cost. Blue Ridge Sun coordinated almost everything to ensure I was able to qualify for over $ 6,600 rebate through the Virginia Solar and Wind Incentive Program. Will also be able to use 30% of the total project cost as a federal tax credit, so net costs to me for this project are very reasonable.<br />
