We highly recommend Northern Light Energy for solar installation. Scott Shipley is extremely knowledgeable, not only with respect to the practical and technical aspects of solar but also with respect to national and global energy trends. His interest and knowledge extend beyond it being a business. We appreciate that he lives in this community and has been doing this business here for some time. Working with him and his employees was easy and a pleasure and he did an excellent job of customizing our installation to serve a variety of purposes: solar array/shed/chicken house.

Excellent Project Experience
Doing business with NLE would provide the consumer an example of the way they should be treated. My initial inquiry was responded to promptly, the site visit was conveniently scheduled and my project specific questions were throughly answered. Within a week I received the project proposal. Review of the proposal addressed all aspects of the project at a competitive price. The multitude of paperwork associated with the NYSERDA grant and grid connection were prepared and submitted. The project was NLE's first ballasted racking system. Despite a few construction challenges the project was completed in a timely manner by a courteous professional staff. Anyone in NLE's service area considering solar should afford NLE the opportunity to bid the project. A very pleasant experience for us.

Solar Excellence
Our experience with Scott and his crew was nothing short of excellent in all aspects of the project. From estimate to activation, Scott made the process simple and understandable, his crew was courteous and diligent and it really was the easiest construction project ever. By installing these solar panels, we want to continue to get 100%of our electricity,(except of course for service charge)and therefore are very careful with our use...turn off lights when not in a room, keep computer on pause much of the day, have natural gas stove and hot water heater, which is helpful as well.<br />Northern Lights is a wonderful company- very pleased that it was so close to our house. In fact, we installed, with Northern Lights, solar panels on a house that we built years ago-just 3 miles from our new house. Our daughter and family bought the house and are enjoying 100% of electricity too!
