It's a process....
It's construction, let's face it. Never pleasant. They all have been very good answering our many questions. Only reason I'd give them a 4 start is because of their install crew, they were very loud/unprofessional (laughing, joking, talking) and left a lot of metal debris in my yard that could have injured someone when our neighbors or us used our mowers.

The sales team we had was great, very knowledgeable and walked us through every detail of the process. The project manager fell a little short of meeting my expectations. After everything was approved there was a delay on getting the install scheduled and I had to follow up a few times for updates. The install went quick and had no issues. The final inspection went great and soon after we started generating energy. The only other issue we have is getting our credit from Illinois (SREC). Seems like there was a delay on getting the process going after I signed the document. A month later I was told about a vendor issue with the state of Illinois and that they corrected everything but now we were put back through the process. Instead of getting a check by July at the latest, it’s now December. The vendor I signed off on is the same vendor on the new one they submitted in Jan, so I’m not really sure on what the issue was. Overall it was a good experience but just falling a little short on the project management and getting the SREC check.

Going solar was easier than we thought
I worked through EnergySage to get quotes for solar on our single family house. RxSun came in with the best quote and we went with them. The process of having solar installed was easy and much faster than I had expected. We've had solar for ~4 months and the system is working well. Very satisfied with the service we received from RxSun. It's really cool to be able to look at production and consumption in real time on the app. So far we have generated far more electricity than we have used, but I suspect that summer and air conditioning season will even things out.

Thank you, RX Sun and Noah, for a great set of panels and awesome installation. I got quotes from 5 other companies before my friend told me about RX Sun. I was planning to go with one of the 5 companies and thought I’ll get one more quote from RX Sun since my friend referred them and I’m so glad I did. Noah made me an offer I couldn’t refuse with a 30 yr parts and labor warranty and REC panels. He also presented me with an amazing 0% financing deal that you’ll have to ask him about yourself. Noah was so knowledgeable and did not BS me like some of the other 5 companies I spoke with. He was able to explain the IL State credits better than the others. The IL credits can be quite confusing and the estimated credits the others gave me were all different so it was hard to know who to trust. The installation was scheduled and installed with no surprises. My 17 REC panels took 2 days to complete in Dec 2022 and they did a professional job. The company kept me updated on the permit process and the ComEd inspection along the way. They helped me file the IL State credits paperwork after the installation was completed and again, no surprises. My panels have been running for 3 months during the Winter, at the time of this review, and even with the Winter sun and shorter days the performance has exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to go through a full Summer to accumulate some ComEd “credits” so I can stop paying ComEd for my energy usage going forward. I am a Construction Manager by profession so it was refreshing how professional this company was to deal with. I rate this company a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend RX Sun and Noah Rothschild, in particular.

Great Customer Service and Installers
From the time that the project first started I was kept in the loop. I received e-mail updates letting me know how the project was proceeding. I was able to work with the time line so I would be able to be home for the site survey, installation, and the required inspections. Hanna let me know when there were hiccups and how we could address them. I can't say enough about the electrical crew that did all of the electrical work. They took the time to see if they could run all of the conduit through my attic making for a clean looking installation. I only have a pipe running from the soffit into the En phase panel connecting the system. I don't the name of the person that did the site survey and activated the system but he was great.

Top of the line company!
From start to finish, very professional: timely, courteous, competent, and with great financing. Hannah, the project manager, communicated promptly to all my concerns. She even replied to an email on a Sunday. I was kept abreast of all stages of the process and their progress. I had considered 4 companies through the Energysage website, interviewed 5 solar companies in my home, and corresponded by one company by phone. Lots of research and time on my part to be as confident as possible that I had chosen the right company. The installation was finished in a day and a half. The installers took time to answer my questions and were timely, orderly, and very friendly. An example of their pride in their work and wanting to please their customers occurred when through no fault of theirs (a golf ball had hit it!), my solatube developed a leak just after the solar system was installed. Not knowing at the time that the leak was from a solatube, I called the installers assuming that they had caused the leak. They came the next day spent a couple hours doing a water test on the panels but found no leak. Then they discovered on the other side of the roof of the panels, the cracked concrete seal on the solatube,. They repaired it and also sealed a second solatube. And did not charge me. I even gave them a $100 check as a tip. It was never cashed. Check out the linkedin page of the owner; it'll give you an idea of the company's character. Obvious, I'm very happy that project went so well. Highly recommend Rxsun.

There are many solar companies out there but, RxSun is the ONLY company that will give you the best honest price and exceptional service. We had the best experience and they will make sure to keep in the loop along the way. They also have a cool app you can use to monitor your solar power!

Round Two of solar
We had a small system for about 12 years and wanted to upgrade and increase our production. I did a lot of homework and talked with a number of solar companies and found RxSun to be the most transparent and fair offer. The service Chris and the team showed really sold me on selecting them. They made the process so smooth with little for me to do. Having these installed for just over a month now, I love knowing how much I am saving and helping the environment. Absolutely recommend RxSun.
