Professional communications, installation and support

It has been a pleasure working with David Bishins, SEW’s Field Energy Adviser, and the entire Solar Energy World team for our recent solar installation. Dave worked closely with us to design, revise and specify our system as well as thoroughly answer all of our questions. His highly knowledgeable and pleasant demeanor made the entire process of learning about solar energy operations and requirements rewarding. SEW efficiently handled all Montgomery County and PEPCO permit applications, provided all of the details needed for our HOA application, and coordinated County and PEPCO inspections. They also handled the SREC application for Maryland at the end of the project. Installation took a single day and went smoothly. Every member of the crew performed their job well, and the crew chief provided documentation/photos and complete instructions on starting and operating the system when the final inspection was compiled and PEPCO permission to operate was received. The only delay in the entire project was the relatively long time it took PEPCO to schedule the final inspection. We highly recommend Solar Energy World.

We regret going with Solar Energy World.

Price point was very good. Installation was very good. It took about a month. From planning to full installation. Service was terrible. We never saw another service team after the install to address the full operation of the solar system. It is like going to a 5 star restaurant, the waiter tells you about the 4 course menu and how amazing it is. You order it. After entree /3rd course, you never saw the waiter again. You go to the host desk and ask about your waiter. They tell you to use an email to get your last course! You have to pay NOW using phone or a computer. However, you haven't gotten your last course. How do you like that service?

Very Professional

We went through Arlington County's Solar Switch program. We got to Solar Energy World out of that. We felt we got a good price, good advice, and professional installation. The process was fairly quick and Solar Energy World moved it along all the way. Our roof was old. Solar Energy World also gave us a new roof at what seemed like a reasonable cost. We also bought a battery. (This was out idea--Solar Energy World did not push us on this.) That seemed to be a lot of work to install. The person who installed it was very professional. Solar Energy World appeared to be a solid firm. I would recommend them highly.

Great experience overall

Solar Energy World (SEW) weren't pushy at all during our initial research, and answered all of our questions. Their prices were fair, and they held our hands through the whole process. We're very happy with our new installation.

Exceptional Customer Service

The process to determine and set up my solar panels was flawless. My draw to the idea were the incentives my county and State provided. I was even more pleased with the way Solar Energy handled the transaction as they were the provider of choice for my county. As of today, I have had no issues and I’m making $$$. I hope long term things pan out as Solar Energy stated re. costs savings, etc.

Knowledgeable and friendly team. Great company to work with

We had a great experience working with Solar Energy World. Our rep Austin was knowledgeable and helped explain the process when we first reached out. He was very patient with us as we shopped around different vendors before ultimately choosing SEW. A key factor that led us to choose Solar Energy World was working with a local vendor that wasn't going to sub-contract out the work. This was the right choice as the team they sent out to do the installation was an incredibly hard-working group of individuals. I was also impressed with the level of detail in documenting every aspect of the installation. They handled so much paperwork behind the scenes for the HOA, local permits, SREC application, etc Overall, great experience and would recommend them

Seamless installation and great support

Out experience couldnt be better. The team explained every step, answered all our questions and when the installation happened, the crew was friendly and fantastic. Furthermore they worked with Pepco to turn it on and handled all the paperwork for the rebates. I highly recommend Solar Energy World.

So far, Solar Energy World is living up their outstanding reputation. They even absorbed an unexpected replacement of a service tail. Our Progect Manager, Nava, is knowledgeable, responsive, and low-pressure. The work crew was professional and courteous and got the install done in less time than expected.

Great service overall

I couldn’t be happier with my recent home solar panel installation! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional. The installation team was punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions with patience and clarity.
