Amazing value solar panel system
Sunbright installed panels on my roof more than 3 years ago, and I couldn't be happier with my system. We chose to purchase a rather large system for my house (22 Panasonic panels) and our electric bill is now zero every month, with a credit on our TEP account steadily growing! We haven't had a single issue since they were installed, and would highly recommend them over any other company if you are looking for new panels. As soon as Zillow discovered we have panels on our roof, their estimate of our home's value increased by more than the total amount we paid for our panels! So they are a great value as well, and a win-win/no-brainer investment in any Arizona home. Their SolarEdge app is great for keeping track of the panels efficiency as well. If we ever decide to move to a new house in Tucson, we will use them to install panels again. Thank you Sunbright!

Underway with Solar!
In March 2022 I invited 6 companies to bid my 8KW rooftop solar system. SunbrightSolarAZ.com responded with a very knowledgeable sales rep and gave me a competitive proposal and lead time. I asked for references and visited a couple of customer's installations. The owners were very enthusiastic about their Sunbright experience, product quality and system performance. 10 weeks after contract signing my system is on the grid and cranking out the specified watts. Sunbright beat their original schedule by 4 weeks! Great attention to detail and expert installation leads me to highly recommend them for your rooftop solar project. Go Solar!

Extremely good experience with knowledgeable professionals
Update: they handled all the permits very smoothly and my HOA. System was installed right on time and is working great! I'll get negative bills until summer! Sunbright delivered and has been super responsive to all questions. Super happy I chose them! All the stars. I just signed the contract with Sunbright Solar. I will update this as the install occurs and if there's any good or bad after. I am an electrical engineer myself. KNOWLEGEABLE SALES: I ended up talking to half a dozen solar salesfolk the last 3 weeks, and of them, Soroosh of Sunbright is the only one that was able to answer questions promptly with thorough, in depth answers and who demonstrated clear knowledge of both the equipment and what the company would actually do in terms of installation and warranty. Half of the others could not answer a direct question at all or took days to respond with incomplete or vague information. Soroosh meanwhile not only knew the pertinent specs of the equipment but in the presentation was able to point them out to me quickly in prepared materials or materials from the manufacturer. He was also able to talk about the installation process, the tax incentives, and answer questions about dealing with HOAs and permits. I can definitely say that not all of the others were able to do those things. All except sunbright presented a single option without first asking about my intended use and did not offer to upsize until I asked. Everyone got a picture of my electrical panel and meter. One company said they’d have to send someone out and check as they thought it might need work but they didn't know for sure, everyone else just deferred and made it sound like it was a minor detail we’d worry about later. Soroosh asked an electrician and got an answer that I’d need an upgrade and then worked to let me know what the actual cost of that would be. Confirmed with a trusted friend, this was correct. GOOD EQUIPMENT AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH MANUFACTURERS I researched the equipment options the different solar companies offered me. Only Sunbright offered the Panasonic as the initial/default option. As far as I can tell when comparing all of them side by side Panasonic’s current technology does indeed look like the highest value, particularly for Tucson due to their overall efficiency, degradation over time, and, in particular, their heat tolerance. Only Sunbright offered these as default, though they were willing to give me options. As for inverters, that they provide replacement and warranty with in stock parts sold me on the idea that it was safe to rely on their suggestion. Other companies offered me panels as the default option that just did not look to be as good technology. Some did not offer options on inverters and only worked with one or the other (that’s not a downside necessarily if they know the equipment well, but still a point). But none of them seemed to have as good of relationships with the manufacturers and offer as much in house support. If any other company in Tucson does have such relationships, they weren’t one I was able to find. That’s a huge selling point. I also appreciate 25 year warranties on all of it. Other companies limited the service warranty to as little as 5 years for some parts. REAL COMPANY: Talking with that who picked other companies, they seemed annoyed to be dealing with three separate companies that weren’t very good at communicating with each other. The sales company, the finance company, and the installers were all separate entities. Sunbright has own its own installation crews, electricians etc. Plus Sunbright is all local. TRUST Everything about this company tells me they know their stuff and can handle my needs and any issues. They are recognized by manufacturers and know the product. They weren't the cheapest, but after talking to all the other companies I think they will give me the best quality product with the easiest install that I won't regret.

The Very Best
I had some initial concerns because our project would be in an adjoining county and at least a two hour drive away, but from our very first contact with Daniel Schippers, our experience in working with Sunbright Solar has been nothing short of fantastic. We promptly received a site visit, and, after a review of our energy needs/consumption, we received a clear and comprehensive proposal detailing all benefits and costs. Sunbright Solar handled all of the engineering, as well as the required permits for APS and the county. After nearly thirty years in residential construction dealing with contractors/sub-contractors, Sunbright Solar was surely the very best. Dustin, the General Manager, and Mike, the Field Supervisor, were phenomenal in their professionalism and exemplary attention to detail. When it came to demands and delays prompted by APS, Sandra, who managed the project administration, was a rock. Once the system was online, Sunbright Solar filed all of the requisite warranties and set us up with a monitoring system including a thorough walk-through. And at the conclusion, Nicole Miller was steadfast in ensuring that we received all of the relevant documents for the closing out of the project.

Expert installers with terrific attention to detail
After a careful study of the Southern Arizona Solar market, we engaged with three companies in the bidding process for a big 14.6kW system. Our house is on the large side (5000sf with three separate Air Conditioning systems) and our TEP bills had been growing steadily over the past several years – made even worse by a brutal summer and being stuck at home continuously during Covid! After receiving zoom presentations and cost proposals from each of the three installers, we chose Sunbright Solar. Dan Schippers gave us by far the most comprehensive presentation on Solar technology and answered all of our questions in detail. Pricing was frankly very competitive between the three bids, but we put a very high weight on the quality and care of the installers as well as the top ratings of the Panasonic panels being used. Sunbright worked with care through several iterations to create a design layout for my roof which would protect views from my house while reducing the neighbors views of my 43 panel installation. They also were willing to carefully route the wiring conduit from the roof, down through the inside of my garage and across to the TEP Electric service some 50ft away. Other installers simply wanted to run the conduit on the outside of the house (for their own convenience) and directly down to the meter which would have created an ugly scar on the front entrance area of my house! Unfortunately, due to very high demand and a huge backlog at the end of 2020, we had to wait nearly four months after signing with Sunbright before the installation could be done. The team was excellent at communicating the status of applications and approvals (Pima County, TEP, and my HOA) and everything was handled very smoothly. When the week came, John and his team arrived on time and worked for nearly four days to complete my installation. I was very pleased with their professionalism and ability to make some on-the-fly adjustments to the layout based on some unforeseen rooftop shading challenges. Let me tell you, these guys are super detail oriented and made sure that each roof anchor or penetration was properly sealed and coated. Everything was done carefully with high quality components and they cleaned up each day as they wrapped up work. I have heard horror stories about other solar installers making a mess, or even doing damage to your roof because they are in such a hurry. Not Sunbright! After the system was turned on and had been generating power for a few days, I discovered some issues regarding the SolarEdge power monitoring readings being off. So I had a chance to engage with Dustin and Adrienne for technical support. It took trying a few different things over a period of a couple of weeks to rectify the problem, but they were pleasant and professional at all times and stuck with me the whole way. I am now a huge fan of Sunbright Solar and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking to add solar to their property.

Great Every Step of the Way
We just finished the installation process with Sunbright Solar here in Tucson. Every step of the process was handled in a first class fashion. From meeting with Daniel, email updates from their office staff, updates from Dustin, and the heavy lifting done by Mike, Chris and Shane. Daniel is like having a PhD of all things solar. He knows his stuff! The communication was great, the HOA approval process they handled seamlessly leading to a quick approval of the project. The install lead employee Mike takes his trade seriously. His dedication and pride shows in the work that was completed. He expressed his strong work ethic when he explained that every job he does he does it as if it was his own house. When the town's inspector came to look at the system, his response was "They did a beautiful job." Now some people out there may be wondering about price, their price was competitive with the other five companies in which we made inquiries. The equipment provided is top of the line in the industry now and didn't cost extra. So if you're looking to save a few hundred bucks on a system, then pick one of the Phoenix Valley companies and let me know how that works out for you. But if you want a local southern Arizona company, that takes pride in what they do and treat people with professionalism and respect, then this is the one for you too.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable
Was very pleased through the entire process of my solar install. The communication i received with the office made me feel at ease regarding the different steps it takes to completion. I never felt pressured into buying and was given many different options on quality to price for my solar panels. When the solar crew came out they were extremely professional and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend this company!

Outstanding from start to finish
Late in 2018 I made my decision to install solar and wanted it operational by year end. The process from the sales presentation to commissioning my system went smoothly and was a pleasant experience. SunBright processed all required permits to include coordinating with my HOA. The installation crew was extremely friendly and professional, paying particular attention to details required by my HOA all the while responding to my questions. I waited awhile to review this install so I would have a few months of Solar operations. The first six months of 2019 have been outstanding. Even with my power company eliminating “net metering” I have basically paid very little above their required fixed monthly expenses—awesome! As for SunBright support, I have received several follow up calls to ensure I was happy and answer any questions I had. The only problem I have encountered was one day the SolarEdge monitor was not updating. A quick call to SubBright confined my system was operating normally and the problem was attributed to a SolarEdge server problem. A few hours later everything was working normally with no loss of data. Bottom line — extremely happy with my system and recommend SunBright Solar if your are looking for a local Tucson company with a professional, friendly and responsive staff!!

Very knowledgeable and professional
I had three Tucson companies come out to review solar energy options. Leasing versus buying, where and how they would install it, how long to pay for itself, what my savings would be, etc. I am a divorced townhome owner (a woman) and was afraid I would be taken advantage of. <br />Dan, from Sunbright, gave me the most thorough explanation of everything. He did not talk down to me at all. Answered all my questions...(and follow up questions...)....and I ended up buying NOT LEASING a unit for a very reasonable price. The whole procedure went very well--and my roofing company even said they did an "excellent" job on installation and were not at all concerned I would have any roofing problems with this unit. They are mounted on "tilt legs" and don't stick up super high like some house units I have seen.
