Disappointed
Don Redman is a personable, talented salesman. Unfortunately the GENERAC solar system we purchased has proven unreliable, expensive, and troublesome. Service for the system has been inconsistent, poorly overseen, and has delayed response of weeks to months. We are currently waiting for repair of a non functioning system which we have been told will be at least 2 to 4 weeks. Different repair personnel have shown up each time they were needed and none have been familiar with the system. The technicians frequently condem previous repairs and installation. No follow up has ever been performed to assess function. I estimate that the system has been functional 60% of the time since installation in 2020. Specific unaddressed problems include: 1. Battery backup non functional. 2. SnapRS devices sitting on roofing material and exposed to water rather than suspended on racking. 3. Wiring not protected from wildlife. In my case the proud GENERAC name is on a faulty, cobbled together system poorly installed, and poorly maintained and supported. Overall the system had cost more to maintain than it has promised in electricity generation. Frustration cost is immeasurable.

first i would like to say i like the solar ! but very unhappy with the rest of the things i got as a package deal especially the A/C system when you buy a A/C and you the people putting it in. and you could see that the old duck would not Abe to handle the new system that's when you would say some thing then. but no you find out when summer time hits and you can not cool off the house so they come out and say you need to upgrade your duck work for 1500$ more. i'm giving them and you a 2 star rating because your name related to the co. that hired to the job right the first time. i work hard for my money.
