Best Price, Best System, Smooth Process
I obtained quotes from four different solar companies for a solar system with a Powerwall3. Not only was 8MSolar the lowest price but they also offered the best panels (highest capacity and longest guarantee) and the lowest finance rate. They worked with Duke Energy to get my PowerPair rebate approval. It was a long month waiting for installation (like a kid waiting for Christmas), but installation was yesterday. Everything looks great and is working perfectly. Highly recommended.

Solar with 3 5p batteries installed in Feb. 8m was great. The process with Duke is time consuming but that is what it is. 2 full months in and system working as good as I was expecting. I have called and talked to both 8m and Enphase and have had awesome response times. I can't wait for how new tech will keep my Duke bill down at the level it has been so dar. From $250 to $30 for April and May.

Faulty Inverter & Questionable Business Practices
Buyer beware. Inverter broke 3 years in and should last 15-20 years. Was under warranty but charged labor to install. While was following the contract, it did not seem right. Should not have to pay labor for a part that’s under warranty. Relatively new installer in the area and will be interesting to see if they chose a faulty supplier a few years from now as the early projects they did mature. Also, threatened to void other warranties of the contract if I posted a negative review containing any inaccuracies. Seems like they’re inflating their reviews by these questionable business practices.

I had solar and 2x PW3's installed and from start to finish, the whole process was easy. The team at 8M really knows their stuff and will ensure they are fully up to date on all new technologies/applications. The timeline went as expected and they kept me informed on any and all changes. Excellent experience, excellent customer service, and excellent products. Glad I went with 8M over the other well-known companies in the area. Highly recommend!

Well done turn-key job
8msolar engineered and installed my photovoltaic system. I am totally pleased with their professionalism, communication, and final product. They handled everything, so all I had to do was stand back and watch. The county electrical inspector complemented them on the installation and I agree. It was well done. Their communication via email was excellent. They kept me in the loop on every aspect of the process.

I recently had the pleasure of working with 8M Solar to install solar panels on my property, and I am beyond impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, every aspect of the process was handled with professionalism and expertise. First and foremost, the performance of the solar panels has exceeded my expectations. We completed our installation in October; I've consistently seen high production numbers since then. Although the direction of the house is the key. Speaking of installation, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by the team from 8M. They were punctual, efficient, and incredibly skilled at their craft. Not only did they complete the installation promptly, but they also ensured that every detail was attended to meticulously. One aspect that particularly stood out was how clean my installation was. The solar panels were seamlessly integrated into my property, with no unsightly wires or clutter detracting from the aesthetic appeal of my home. Great care ensured the installation functioned flawlessly and looked visually appealing. The wiring was also mostly invisible as they were routed through a pipe from the attic to the crawl space. We had our solar install this week and couldn’t be happier! The whole process was very smooth and seamless from getting a quote to the install. The team did a great job explaining the process and answering any questions I had. Everyone was very respectful of our home and property as they did the install, and it all went up so quickly! 8M truly has a great team who are all very knowledgeable and good at what they do. The sales guy was especially amazing and really went the extra mile for me. They are very honest and transparent about their prices (which are reasonable) and process, unlike so many other solar companies out there. It was so worth the investment especially with how great the customer service is and the lifetime workmanship warranty they include. The actual panels look amazing and the design looks so clean and well done. Overall just a great company and I am so glad we went with them!
