Excellent Company, Service & Product
The entire process was excellent. We met with Jayson who discussed our options. He was willing to answer all of our questions and provided the details we needed to make a good decision. Nick and the installation team were great. They showed up when promised and took care of a minor issue without question. We are very happy with the system and appreciate the help and education on how to best utilize it. They were referred to us by good friends and we are happy to refer them to others.

Excellent and Friendly "Remote" Customer Service
Use of Christmas lights and space heaters overloaded my home's electrical system. And the surge knocked out electricity in my bedrooms. which caused me to spend the night in a cold and dark room! I went online and search the BBB's rating of the local electricians. I provided my contact information on their website. And the next morning a gentleman who introduced himself as Nick called me from the Sun Solar Electric. He was patient and cordial and told me to take a photo of my Circuit Breaker and text it back to him, so he can determine if he could help me over the phone! He was able to instruct me over the phone to reset the tripped Circuit Breaker. And suddenly, I had electricity in all of my bedrooms! He did not even charge any fees for his consultation! I am delighted that there are honest and helpful operators like him in our community. And want to congratulate Sun Solar Electric for having such a fantastic employee. Needless to say, next time for any electrical issues, I am reaching to them.

Outstanding Professionalism
I chose to go with Enphase micro-inverters and Silfab panels. Both are premium quality and come at a premium price as well. Sun Solar Electric was highly knowledgable on both products, including future outfitting of car charging as well as sizing the system to accommodate future expansion of a rental cottage on the property and other future electrical upgrades. The entire staff at Sun Solar Electric were great to work with. Immediate answers to questions, very communicative and highly professional. Couldn't recommend them more.

Sun Solar is stellar
Sun Solar did the installation of our home solar system. They were professional, on time, and their budget came in far less than other solar providers. The entire process was smooth from start to finish and they worked very well with the roofer we identified to do repairs prior to the installation. They also interfaced incredibly well with the city on permitting. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to install solar at their home. Kelsey Grady

A wonderful experience from soup to nuts.
The sales rep, Niles, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and transparent. My positive experience with him was in sharp contrast to reps from other companies. The installers were equally professional, timely, and very communicative. Sun Solar took care of permits and inspections. The entire experience was excellent. The icing on the cake is that it was also the lowest of three bids I received, and by a significant margin.

Knowledgeable & professional company with integrity
I very much appreciated working with this company. As with most construction projects, it is important that important decisions and assumptions be addressed in the written contract. As we encountered various questions during the work, they followed through with the project, being both honest and patient with me as we resolved what could and could not be done, and performing the work as specified. I would use this company again.

Completely Satisfied
Let me begin by stating that when I started the process I was dealing with a health issue that made me want to confirm that this company would be there for my wife if concerns should arise after the install. I went to their location and met Mike Meyer and Jason Fernandes who handle the electrical and solar operations. Learned that they are family owned and are bringing their kids into the business to secure a solid company, with plans to be around for a long time. I left completely reassured. The first person I dealt with was Page Leonard, the sales consultant. He came up with a well prepared proposal as to the number and placement of the panels. He was very patient with me and my numerous questions. I had some different ideas and we reached agreement on the third proposal. So what does this mean. Page, and the company as a whole, are willing to listen to the customer and allow you to be part of the process. Next up was Nick, who came by the house to do a visual of the planned installation. He fine tuned the plan and was able to do a wiring change in order to produce accurate monitoring of the panels and the Enphase battery system. Next up was Brian who was in charge of the install team. Brian, and his team, are perfectionists who did excellent work. Even at this point he looked at the job and was able to make some small changes to improve the project. The team members listen and trust in each other. That's appreciated by me, the customer. Following the install, Nick came by to program the batteries. There was a slight hiccup in its ability to communicate with Enphase, but it was ironed out in one week. On 05/20/22 I received my "permission to operate" from PG&E and the system is working like a charm. I also have confidence that Sun Solar Electric will be there for me should a problem arise in the future.

I have had a very good experience with Sun Solar getting panels and battery on my property. they are very busy so sometimes a bit slow in responding, but the work is very good, we bid the work to 4 firms and Sun Solar was competitive and would work with us. I like their staff from sales to install. They handled permits, inspections and install. We have not programmed yet, but that is not their fault.
