True up time
I can't say enough good things about going solar and the Sol-tek company. I was fortunate enough to deal directly with Jeff Brown, the GM. Unlike many others I dealt with during my research, he was honest and didn't make exaggerated claims. I told Jeff Imwanted a system that would produce all of my electricity without an over production. Well we are approaching our true-up for the first year and we are within $100 with one month to go. I am excited every month when I open the once dreaded PG&E bill. Ironically, today I received my March PG&E bill...$1.97!!! I'm laughing all the way to the bank. If you are staying in your home, give Jeff a call, you won't regret it.

Great company!
I trusted them because they are locally owned and operated! I needed to know that I could trust and not worry about being taken advantage of. They were always professional and on time. The US made products was another plus for us. We love our solar and they're calculations on what we needed was spot on. Our true up payment the first year was a whopping .15 cents!

Sol-Tek is AWESOME!!
This was my second time putting solar on my personal residence. This time I called Jeff and I was very impressed with his knowledge and with his thoughts on the 'Time of use' programs that PGE and SCE offer and how that works with your solar system to help boost energy savings!! ie. how it saves you MONEY!!! I would highly recommend SolTek to anyone looking for solar and also for anyone looking to install solar pool heating. They did both for me, and I couldn't be happier.

Love the savings
Sol-Tek scheduled the installation for a time and day that I was available. Then they explained how the equipment worked. The price was reasonable for my income. The product has saved me money each month.

Solar Panel System
We chose SolTek to install a solar system on our roof based on the quality of the panels and converter that they specified and the competitive price.<br />The system was installed over a 3 day period. I have been up on the roof to clean the panels (dust over the long dry Summer) and everything looks to be well done, quality work. The system has performed flawlessly! Our electrical costs totaled around $1000 before the Solar System. With the system in place, the full year electrical cost was $60. What seemed like a big step to make this kind of investment we now see as an easy decision. I see the solar system on our roof as a kind of appliance (washer, dryer, water heater, etc.) that costs some money up front but which quickly saves money in ways that no other household appliance can do.
